Cine to DVD Service

Whatever the age, size or length of your home cine film, we can transfer it onto DVD, enabling you to re-live special moments from the past. Send us your cine film, preferably by Special Delivery as it is likely to be irreplaceable. Include details of your name, address and telephone number. We will provide you with a free quotation, and advise you of an approximate completion date.
Once you have approved the price, we will transfer your cine film, using our broadcast standard camera, onto our digital editing suite.
	We will professionally author your DVD, providing a clear on-screen menu, so you can easily access each individual film.
We will take an appropriate still image from your film and print it onto your DVD, together with suitable wording. We will then post your DVD to you, together with your original cine film, by Special Delivery. Within the price of your quotation, a master DVD will be retained by 1st Take so you can order further copies in the future, for £9.95 each.
Prices and Technical Information
We are able to transfer the following formats: Standard 8 Super 8 9.5mm 16mm film You will be charged £40 for the first 100 feet (minimum charge) and £30 for each subsequent 100 feet, plus a Special Delivery fee to cover the cost of despatching your cine film and finished DVD. Please note that if you have a large amount of cine film to transfer, we can offer you a very favourable special discount price. All prices are VAT inclusive.

If we encounter unexpected problems, such as frequent blank and unusable sections, we will call you and advise extra editing, which will be at your discretion. All transfers will be mute, unless music is specifically required, in which case this can be added for a supplementary fee.
Wedding Photo Albums to DVD Were you married before the age of Wedding Videos? 1st Take can transfer your wedding photo album to DVD, and enhance it with appropriate music, to add a new dimension to your special day.
