Travel in a DB Cargo Class 66 cab on the Rochdale Line! We’ve got a full load of 2000 tons on its way to a waste from energy facility, and begin our tortuous route by heading south on the WCML to Hartford Junction where we turn east on the mid-Cheshire line. We pass Cheshire’s salt mines and a huge secret underground cavern where strategic reserves of fuel were stored during the Cold War!
