Full description from the producer:

This DVD features the light rail line from Birmingham to Wolverhampton that was opened from Birmingham Snow Hill Station to Wolverhampton St. George’s in May 1999. After many years of planning, the extension from Snow Hill to Birmingham city centre was constructed between 2013 and 2016, opening as far as Bull Street in December 2015 and the final section to Grand Central, Stephenson Street on 30th May 2016. The original type T69 trams were supplied for the opening of the line by Ansaldo/Firema in Italy, these were replaced in 2014/5 by 21 CAF Urbos 3 5 section low floor trams, the last T69 tram running on 14th August 2015. This DVD was filmed between 2011 and 2016 and features changes to both the route (including the city centre extension) and the rolling stock during this period. There is also a short feature on West Midlands electric traction survivors. Total running time 75 minutes, wide screen PAL (UK) system. No commentary, subtitles, enjoy the sights and sounds of trams in the West Midlands.
