Flying Scotsman, Surely the most famous locomotive in the world!

This programme takes a look at the history of Flying Scotsman and also the confusion with the train of the same name.

Roland Kennington tells the story of both the American and the Australian trips.

The story is brought right up to date after it’s latest overhaul and we see the first runs on the East Lancs Railway, and also its mainline test run around the Hellifield circuit.

Finally 60103 stars at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and out on the mainline. 60103 also returned to the East Lancs Railway at the end of 2016.
