Full description from the producer:

Originally released in 2001

This new release in our Digitally Remastered Series is a long deleted Train Crazy title. Originally available on VHS (in 2001) and then as a limited edition DVD, it has not been available for more than a decade. Due to many requests it’s back – bigger, better and in stunning HD for the very first time!

This is the original programme, which has been put through the upscale and remaster treatment with improvements to audio, colour balance, contrast and most of all – picture quality. Some of the trains featured here were never filmed in HD or in broadcast quality. Now, for the first time – you can enjoy just that!

The Inter-City 125s have provided the backbone of Britain’s non-electrified express passenger services since the mid-1970s. This video looks at the HST fleet in 2000/2001: Cross-country sets: Long-distance passenger trains from Scotland to Penzance; West Coast sets: From London Euston to Holyhead and Blackpool North; Midland sets: From London St. Pancras to Sheffield and Nottingham; Western sets: From London Paddington to Swansea and the West of England; East Coast sets: From London Kings Cross to Aberdeen and Inverness. Each class is introduced with allocations and formations followed by action shots plus EUROSTARS: Channel Tunnel and East Coast sets.
