A nostalgic look at Purbeck and the local area with rare archive films from the 1930s and 1940s, including footage of wartime farming (in colour), seaside holidays, village life, Corfe Castle and its people. The old films show the fascinating transformation from horses to machines and are presented by Nancy and Howard Stevens.

This compilation of archive footage from the 1930s and 1940s, includes memories of seaside holidays in Swanage in the 1930s, the quaint and historic village of Corfe Castle and rare scenes of farming filmed in colour during the second world war at Church Knowle,
