Full description from the producer:

We are delighted to announce the second volume in the remarkable series of archive films taken by Douglas Seaton in the 1940s and 1950s. This volume contains more 16mm film in full colour and some very rare black & white footage taken in the 1920s and 1930s providing such scenes as early Southern locomotives on the South Western main line in the Bournemouth and Weybridge areas. More footage has come to light since volume one of the Yeovil area and main Great Western lines around Taunton, plus more film on the Abbotsbury branch in 1947 and the Lyme Regis branch in 1951. Views around Penzance station and the Silonian ferry. The miniature railway in Poole Park and very early days of Merchant Navy’s on The Devon Belle. Films of liners in Southampton in 1953 and shipping in Falmouth. Bonus footage of LNER Pacifics and other 4-6-0s in colour and LMS engines at St Pancras in the 1930s.
