Description

A unique collection of old film provides a fascinating look back at life in Gosport and Fareham from the 1920s to the 1970s. Among the many film highlights are the opening of the War Memorial Hospital in 1923, rush hour on the Gosport Ferry in 1934, nostalgic views of the old own in the 1950s, the last horse-drawn milk round in Fareham, crossing Pneumonia Bridge in the 1960s, demolition of Lee Tower, and Gosport’s Jubilee celebrations in 1977.
